Our latest episode of Studio Success Secrets Virtual Edition takes us to Northcote (virtually that is!). We speak with Ida Bakos, owner of HIIT Factory Northcote.
Ida has been in the fitness industry for 6 years. But initially, her career was in IT. What made her do the switch from IT to PT to studio owner is family time. She wanted to be the one to call the shots on her work hours and she saw that opportunity in the fitness industry.
As a mom of three, Ida struggled to find a balance between work and taking care of her kids (they are all homeschooled). The first year of business was definitely hard for her but by focusing on the end goal, which was to work less hours, she bit the bullet and persevered.
Now she’s enjoying the hard work and remained unscathed during lockdown due to the type of training model her business has. The training was continued via Zoom.
When asked what makes her members keep coming back this is what she said, “Treat your members not just a database but a community.” As well as delivering fun, fast, effective workouts, you’re for sure be in it for the long run.
If you are looking for a fitness studio that encompasses different types of training, check out HIIT Factory in Northcote!
