In this week’s episode of Quick Wins with COM, Richard is talking about frequency. It is a term which those who meditation or motivation space is familiar with. ‘Frequency” within context, is basically your ‘attitude’ or ‘aura’ towards those you are looking to do business.
When you are giving off a ‘low frequency’ you will always tend to attract negative energy and those who are weighing you down and taking away the limited time that you already have. On the other hand, when you are giving off a ‘high frequency’ you are giving off an energy that you want to succeed and that you are looking to get things done and are passionate about doing so.
Three ways to achieve ‘high frequency’:
● Being present and becoming more aware of your business environment
● Hanging around the right people (family and friends)
● Showing gratitude and being thankful it’s doesn't have to be a complete overhaul of what you do, it's about the small adjustments that can make the difference.

Richard : Welcome back to Quick Wins with COM. I’m Richard Toutounji and I’m the CEO of Complete Online Marketing. We help traditional and established businesses win in the new age of online marketing. Today’s topic is all around frequency. Now, if you’re in the meditation, the motivation space, you may have heard this word before, but I believe that frequency also relies heavily on business and especially small business as well. You see, in a small business, as a business owner, it’s really important to have your attitude, your frequency.
You can go into every day having two kind of thoughts, a high frequency thought or a low frequency thought. When you’re a low frequency, it means that you’re going to be attracting heaviness. You’re going to be attracting a lot of adversity your way. You’re going to be attracting to you people and clients that maybe necessarily you do not want to do business with or work with or people and clients that really suck your energy out of you, that drain you, that when you walk into a room, you actually feel, when you pretty much walk into a room and finish the meeting or so forth, you feel more drained than when you went into the room. What we’re talking about here is, how do you get into a high frequency?
When you’re at a high frequency, you’re at a frequency of when you’re in the flow, when things are coming your way, when you start attracting great clients, when you start attracting great staff, when you’re having amazing conversations, when automatically you feel better in the day, that’s high frequency. I believe that if you’re going to be in business, you might as well be in business and do it the best you can. You might as well wanting to be attracting the highest frequency possible because when we attract low frequency, it does nothing but just put us in a state of misery. You see, in business, we want to be successful. We go into business to be successful.
The things that I’ve learned to stay in a high frequency and I’ll give you a few tips here is that I believe, one, you’ve got to be in a state of gratitude all the time. You have to be grateful for what you already have. I guess that flows to my next thing is be present. Once you’re present, you realize your surroundings. You realize the conversations that you’re having. You realize what is actually happening. When you’re present, you can start to see what the future does look like in the present. The other thing I’d say is hang around the right people. You’ve probably heard this before, but this is, I find, the greatest thing that I’ve changed, in staying in a high frequency, you have to be hanging around the right people. That includes your friends. That includes family that are living in a high frequency. That includes staff members.
I believe once you’re hanging around that kind of frequency, it doesn’t become just a once-off. It becomes a daily habit. As a summary here, it’s all about the high frequency. It’s all about playing in the right space to get the right outcome, and we turn that back to business. If you’re playing at a high frequency, guess what’s going to happen around you? Automatically, things will change around you. Staff’s attitude will change. Clients will change. Your suppliers, if you’re using suppliers, will have an impact, and it’s about being grateful and caring and thankful, and just using the word “Thank you,” things will start to shift.
